14 February 2004: Moving the Xprint project to freedesktop.org
We are going to to move the Xprint project - at least the server,
maintaince tools and related documentation to freedesktop.org.
xprint.mozdev.org remains the home for the Mozilla-related
projects such as the upcoming Mozilla XPI (sub-)project and other parts
- but the heavywheight stuff is going to be moved to xprint.freedesktop.org to
free some resources from mozdev.org's servers.
Xprint has become so popular that it has started to consume huge amounts of server resources
(network bandwidth, CPU time) - sometimes (e.g. when a new Mozilla
version was released) even bringing the servers near to a collapse.
We're moving now - incrementally - the development area to the new site.
