Hi.

I was hoping somebody could give me an answer to the following question:

Suppose I have a draggable object, i.e. a Label. I can get the events for
starting a drag (ondraggesture), when something is dropped on it (ondragdrop),
or when an item that is being dragged leaves the object (ondragexit).

However, I can't find the event when an item being dragged (in this case the label)
is "dropped" on a "non-droppable" item.

Maybe an example would clear things:
If somebody would like to bookmark a search engine i.e. google. He or she would have to
go to www.google.com and he or she can then drag some values into the browser window
and drop them on the textfield.
Right now it is easy to fill the textfield with text. But I would
like to change the textfield into something else, and therefore, I need to know which element
was being dropped upon.

Please ask me for more details if this explanation wasn't clear enough.

Regards,

Eelco van Kuik

Perhaps you should write up a proposal about certification and send it to mozilla.org. As for the XUL logo, I think the focus is a bit narrow. I am creating an installable package and i am looking for some tweaks: 1) change the colors of the Firefox 2) remove certain toolbars 3) remove the "autocheck for updates" feature 4) change the 'mozilla firefox' to be 'Docent powered by Firefox" i've already made many other changes succesfully to v 2. however, these are elusive for me. i realize this isn't very challenging for you folks, but it would help me out. Next, somehting more challenging. i am using a custom-built webdav program to perform some functions, and i wnat to know if it is possible to have Firefox do these functions. they are: when this custom firefox installation is opened (it only opens via a special shortcut) then firefox opens and goes directly to a certain page. no big deal. right now, in the background, the aforementioned webdav program, will log onto the site and sync some files (actually, it is one way, it downloads the files from server to client, never the opposite direction.. this little program runs as a microsoft service. Question: i notice firefox checks in the background for updates to itself and intalled add-ons. Is there a way to create an add-on that will look in a specified internet location and download fies? plz let me know if anyone is interested in either or both of these projects -- Thanks, Wayne Glover From mbcraig@bellsouth.net Thu Aug 16 12:25:34 2007 Return-Path: X-Original-To: consultants@mozdev.org Delivered-To: consultants@mozdev.org Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1]) by mozdev.mozdev.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 60B5B846AF for ; Thu, 16 Aug 2007 12:25:34 -0700 (PDT) X-Virus-Scanned: amavisd-new at mozdev.org Received: from mozdev.mozdev.org ([127.0.0.1]) by localhost (mozdev.mozdev.org [127.0.0.1]) (amavisd-new, port 10024) with ESMTP id 9RrpCytYCKZN for ; Thu, 16 Aug 2007 12:25:27 -0700 (PDT) Received: from fmailhost04.isp.att.net (fmailhost04.isp.att.net [207.115.11.54]) by mozdev.mozdev.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 4A861846AB for ; Thu, 16 Aug 2007 12:25:26 -0700 (PDT) Received: from macpc (adsl-0-184-185.mob.bellsouth.net[65.0.184.185]) by bellsouth.net (frfwmhc04) with SMTP id <20070816192524H0400lc3one>; Thu, 16 Aug 2007 19:25:24 +0000 X-Originating-IP: [65.0.184.185] Message-ID: From: "Mac & Barbara" To: Date: Thu, 16 Aug 2007 14:25:13 -0500 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0003_01C7E011.42691FC0" X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Windows Mail 6.0.6000.16480 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.0.6000.16480 X-Mailman-Approved-At: Fri, 17 Aug 2007 03:28:59 -0700 Subject: [Consultants] Would anyone help ? Mozilla Developers and Technical Lead wanted

We're setting up a Germany based Internet reseller, that will distribute various multimedia content online.
I like mozilla products, this way I came across songbird; which I believe to be an excellent platform for our offline client.

I'm looking for developers and a technical lead to design songbird add-ons that will ultimately create our very own offline client.

The first step is to find a technical lead, who will create a plan of action and evaluate the costs.

Second, to assemble a competent and vibrant team to complete this task.

Contact me on alex@2012-film.com or on skype „flamingalex“

warm regards,

Alexander Fell

It's an EWOP thing...
