[Xprint] Is there somewhere else to turn?

Hi John,

the list is a little quiet. If no one responded, it probably means they
don't immediately know how to solve the problem. The chief Xprint
maintainer, Roland, has been away too, unfortunately.

I know for me, running Debian, I can print your thai page
(www.dailynews.co.th) mostly fine (font size is a bit small).

The new stable version of Debian is in the last stages of preparation. Once
it's finished, I'd be happy to post the install CDs (or DVD if you prefer)
for you to try. We've taken efforts to improvement internationalisation, so
I would hope a Thai installation is quite straight forward.

We know there are some unresolved postscript problems with Xprint, so
another suggestion is to print to pdf instead. Then hopefully your printer
can handle the pdf file correctly.

My only other suggestion is to delete the Xprint fonts directory (see
http://xprint.freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1112) - it appears to
help with other reported problems, it ought not to hurt to try it.

Hello,

I enclose a description of my problem... but this is the third time I've
done so this month with no answer.
...
When I print from firefox I see a flash of activity at the printer...
and nothing comes out.
