[Xprint] tiny serif font

I just installed xprint 009.001 (binary tarball), alongside xorg 6.7.

I'm printing from mozilla firefox 0.9.

When sending material to a Lexmark postscript printer, and also when 
printing to a ps file, I get this problem:

The overall page size is OK, and the sans-serif fonts are OK, but the 
serif font is absolutely tiny.  At first I thought xprint was just 
putting horizontal lines in place of the text, but looking closely I 
can see minuscule text (the x-height is perhaps 0.2 mm).

I've tried a few web pages and get the same results.  Any help would 
be appreciated.
