I was planning the change for release 010 (e.g. the new Xorg-based
version) anyway... but maybe it's a good idea to make the switch earlier...
any suggestions ?


I've got no problems with a 600dpi default.  I always change it to that
myself, anyway. I guess 600dpi printers are more common these days than
300dpi.

I'm sorry about Jan's trouble with the Debian home page.  I don't get the
same problem.

Note I'm going on vacation tomorrow for a month (visiting Russia!), so I may
not be able to upload till I get back, (though I can try).

I've just uploaded a new Debian version with a patch for AMD-64, I guess
you'll want it on the main branch, if you haven't already added it.
