I can only repeat what I said a few months ago - I don't have an OpenVMS
machine where I can build the binaries on... and likely the tree needs
some adjustments for OpenVMS support so I need direct access myself.
You are not the only one who had asked about OpenVMS but without a
machine we can't do anything. IBM staff (who can't help either because
all their OpenVMS machines sit behind the company firewall... ;-()
suggested http://www.polarhome.com/ - but their OpenVMS machine is
currently down and the home directory quota is very _low_ which will
make it nearly impossible to build the tree without major pain. The only
other chance is to wait until I visit the CERN lab again (that's mid- or
end-of-august... ;-(( ) - that may give me a chanche to grab a OpenVMS
box and hack the tree until it works. Or someone else gives me access to
an OpenVMS machine (I've CC:'ed two people to this email who may be able
to help... :) ...

Bye,
Roland

P.S.: Peter: Is it possible that I can use your OpenVMS box for that
work ?
