You'll be glad to hear upstream is now on to the problem.  Incidentally,
he reports the bug is in fact in mozilla, not in Xprint.  He's heavily
involved with mozilla's development as far as Xprint goes, so I'm
confident of a "proper" solution before too long.

Hmm, -6 should be no different to -5.  The only change is a comment in the
docs saying you might find it helpful to remove the directory yourself,
but I haven't otherwise removed it or the fonts.  Purging xprt-common to
remove it utterly, then reinstalling, might be worth trying.  Again,
upstream says the fonts should stay, the bug is mainly in mozilla and will
be fixed there.
